Alcohol may be off limits, pregnancy symptoms may be in full swing and you may be too tired to keep up with your friends’ partying ways, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun!
We were uninspired by what was on offer for the UK’s sociable parents-to-be, so we set about creating our own bespoke events, incorporating everything we love about urban popups, but in a totally pregnancy-friendly way. From hip restaurants and sunset pregnancy yoga on the roof, to scrumptious Supper Clubs in trendy loft-style apartments and the best mocktails in town, we’ve been throwing ourselves into organising the kind of events that even your non-pregnant friends would love to come to!
They are all very friendly and relaxed, and a great way to meet a bunch of local parents-to-be who are embarking on the same exciting (and exhausting) baby adventure! Most people who attend our events have never met each other before (that’s kind of the whole point!), so please don’t be afraid to come on your own.
Our events are now virtual!
Our virtual events are for local mums-to-be and include a delicious meal delivered to your door! Everyone comes together on Zoom for an exercise class and a chat, and it’s all facilitated by one of our antenatal instructors who are happy to answer all of your questions about pregnancy, birth and babies. During the meal we split everyone into smaller ‘breakout’ groups, so you have a chance to talk more easily to others in the group, and we share everyone’s contact details afterwards so you can stay in touch with each other – it’s a brilliant chance to make local bump buddies!
(Partners / birth partners, you are warmly invited – please make a separate booking and payment if you’d like a brunch for yourself, otherwise there’s no extra fee to join in.)
Our pregnancy exercise classes are suitable for pregnant women who are at least 12 weeks into their pregnancy. No worries if you don’t have a mat – a carpeted floor is just fine!
