After a fantastic response to our antenatal classes in Clapham, Battersea and East Dulwich, we’re delighted to announce our expansion to another one of our favourite parts of South London – Balham.
The addition of Balham brings the total number of Bump and Baby Club locations to a big fat 10! We can’t quite believe how far we’ve come and have been celebrating all week with these beautiful preggo-themed biscuits, created by The Biscuiteers.
Our Balham antenatal classes are taking place at recently refurbished social hub, The Exhibit. We love their versatile offerings, from delicious cocktails (or mocktails for pregnant ladies) to their boutique cinema, comedy nights, life drawing classes and even a locally-famous fish tank!
The venue is just a stone’s throw from Balham station, so it’s the perfect place to meet after work and grab a bite to eat before heading upstairs for awesome antenatal classes!
Along with Clapham and Battersea, Balham completes our ‘Golden Triangle’ in the heart of Nappy Valley and we’re really excited to become part of this super, baby and child-friendly neighbourhood.
To welcome this new Bump and Baby Club chapter, we’re organising two wonderful, bespoke pregnancy events that we’d love to invite you to…
Pregnancy Pilates with Mocktails and Canapés at Sunset
Tuesday 26th July, 7.15-9.15pm
The Exhibit, 12 Balham Station Road, SW12 9SG
Ask for a Pilates recommendation in Balham and Katie is the name you’re most likely to hear. On Tuesday 26th July she’ll teaching her signature pregnancy pilates class for us upstairs at The Exhibit. After the session we’ll be outside on the balcony, kicking back with mocktails and canapés as the sun goes down.
Pregnancy Yoga and Picnic
Sunday 24th July, 10am-12pm
Naturescope, The Nature Centre, Wandsworth Common (off Dorlcote Road), SW18 3RT
On Sunday 24th July we’ll be hosting an alfresco pregnancy yoga class, taught by Battersea’s favourite pregnancy yoga instructor, Nadia Raafat. This will be followed by a delicious picnic, lovingly put together by our new friends at Skylark Cafe.
There’s no need to have tried yoga or pilates before to take part in either of the above, and of course no need to know anyone else going – as with all of our events, meeting new people is really the whole point!
We are so excited for these special events and really hope to see you there!
